Our Unit of Investigation for Term 2 is “My Community”. This excursion will provide the students with a hands on experience to develop a greater understanding of the unit. Students will visit The CFA Learning Centre: a simulated home environment delivering a fire safety educational program by trained CFA staff. The program is designed to enable students to demonstrate strategies that deal with unsafe or emergency situations. They will also visit the Casey Road Safety Education Centre: a mini version of Victorian roads. The aim of the centre is to educate the community about road safety, in a safe, fun, controlled and positive learning environment.

Food: Students are to bring a disposable bottle of water and their snack in a labelled plastic bag. NO school bags are to be taken on the excursion.

Clothing:Students will need to wear full school uniform.

GIRLS wearing skirts/dresses are advised to wear shorts/leggings or similar underneath, to allow clothing to be tucked in whilst on the bikes.
